Start and end boundaries
The default is exclude start and include end. DueRule supports all four combinations, including same-day ranges, so the result reflects the exact interval you intend.
Forward only: reverse ranges are rejected instead of silently swapping the dates.
Range limits
A Between request may traverse at most 20,000 civil days. Sourced profiles must also keep both endpoints inside their verified coverage.

Which dates count by default?
Between calculations exclude the start and include the end by default. Both boundary choices are visible and editable.
Can the end date come before the start?
No. Between is forward-only and rejects an end date before the start.
What happens when the dates are the same?
The count is one only when both boundaries are included and that date is a business day; otherwise it is zero.
